Comforting Tea

Aveda’s certified organic peppermint, licorice root and basil herbal tea is the idyllic calming beverage. This caffeine-free mélange instills a feeling of relaxed wellness. No sugar or other ingredients. Just healthy enjoyment, hot or cold.

How to Use:

After eating, drink a cup of Comforting Tea to support digestion, or savor a soothing cup any time of day.

Use an infuser basket or tea strainer for brewing flavorful results.

Increase the amount of tea leaves if you prefer strong tea.

Brew double the quantity of tea leaves for iced tea. Let cool before adding ice.

Ingredients:

• Licorice Root Extract – Sweet, aromatic extract with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It is used in herbal medicine to relieve digestive issues, sore throats, coughs and stress.
• Peppermint Leaf – Antibacterial, antiseptic and nutrient-rich hybrid of spearmint and water mint is loaded with healing minerals (calcium, copper, folate, iron, magnesium, manganese, potassium), vitamins (Vitamin A, Vitamin C) and Omega 3 essential fatty acids, making it a powerhouse tea.
• Sweet Fennel – Aromatic herb with a slight anise flavor. It is used in herbalism to relieve digestive upset.
• Basil – Edible leaves with healthy vitamins (Vitamin A, C and K), minerals (calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese) and Omega-3 fatty acids. It topically heals minor wounds and impart its mild, sweet smell.
